Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand is seeking dedicated home support workers to assist with household tasks, medications and personal care for patients in their own homes across the Wairarapa, including palliative care cases.

Permanent part-time roles are available in Masterton and Greytown. Shifts may include early mornings and evenings, with a rostered schedule and potential additional hours. NZ citizenship or residency required; a full Police Check is required.

Qualifications

• This role involves home support in patients' own homes.
• Experience with elderly or infirm care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping support and medication assistance.
• Assist with personal cares including showering.
• Travel to patients' homes across the Wairarapa.
• Work within a rostered part-time schedule, 7am–7pm.
