Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau invites an experienced Hand Therapist to join the Centre of Excellence for Hand Therapy at Manukau SuperClinic. The role supports Advanced Clinician or Senior Clinician pathways, delivering care across paediatric and adult hand and upper limb conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy or NZ Occupational Therapy Board with current practising certificate.
• Minimum years of post-graduate experience as required by Senior or Advanced Clinician path.
• For Advanced Clinician: 6+ years post-graduate, 3-4 years in area of speciality; For Senior Clinician: 5+ years post-graduate with 2-3 years in area of speciality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of hand and upper limb conditions across paediatric and adult patients.
• Provide clinical leadership, teaching and mentoring within the team.
• Contribute to service development, research, and quality/risk initiatives and health equity.
