Novotel Christchurch Airport, part of Hind Management, is seeking a friendly Porter to deliver exceptional guest service. The role is part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week, based at the airport hotel with weekend availability required.

You will assist with guest enquiries, luggage handling, and front desk support during busy periods while ensuring cleanliness of public areas and compliance with hotel procedures. A full driver’s license and NZ right to work are essential.

• Full driver's license.
• Professional personal presentation and a great work ethic.
• Ability to work well within a team and build and maintain successful working relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise conflicting tasks professionally.
• Strong guest service orientation.

• Must be available to work over Christmas and New year period
• Right to Work in NZ.

Mansioni

• Assist with guest enquiries.
• Ensure guest messages, dry cleaning are delivered in a timely manner.
• Communicate with DM or FOM of any issue/s that are raised.
• Assist Front Desk during busy check in and check out to ensure guests are receiving the best possible services.
• Record all luggage stored in an orderly manner.
• Keep the luggage store room tidy and accessible at all times.
• Follow any emergency procedures from DM when an emergency arises.
• Must be updated on the knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
• Hotel security floor checks.
• Regularly inspect the lobby and public areas to ensure that the standards of the hotel are maintained and comfortable for guests, visitors as well as employees.
