Distinction Christchurch Hotel, located in the CBD, seeks a Front Office Porter who is friendly, professional and guest-focused. You will be the face of the hotel, assisting guests with directions, luggage, and hotel services.

This role requires availability 7 days a week with three shifts across a 24-hour cycle. A full driving licence (manual and automatic) and a strong work ethic are essential; you will work independently at times and report to the Duty Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in hospitality or front desk is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform guest service duties.
• Must be available 7 days a week with 3 shifts within a 24-hour period.

Distinction Christchurch Hotel has an opportunity for a customer service driven team player to join the Front Office team in the role of Front Office Porter. You will need to be available 7 days a week with the 3 shifts spanning 24 hrs of the day. The position will include:

• Meeting and greeting of guests – Be able to confidently assist and verbally inform guests of the location of city attractions, facilities of the hotel and services that we offer.
• Parking of guest vehicles
• Delivering and collecting guest luggage
• Cleaning duties
• Security Checks of the property

The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and be ready to jump into any situation. We help out wherever and whenever and that includes for our guests but also for our team. You will need to be physically fit and hold a Full Driving Licence (Manual & Auto). You are the face of the hotel. The first and last point of contact for our guests. You need to work independently at times and must be self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable, reporting to the Duty Manager.
