Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a motivated Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team in Auckland. This part-time role features a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, and focuses on delivering exceptional service to guests while supporting smooth check-in and check-out.

You will need 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience, strong English, and familiarity with hotel reservation systems.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, worked on a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests

Managing guest check-in and check-out procedures

Processing reservations, payments, and guest enquiries

Handling guest requests and resolving complaints professionally

Maintaining accurate guest records using hotel systems

Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams

Assisting with food and beverage service where required

Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, health and safety, and service standards

Skills and Experience Required

At least 1-year relevant hospitality or customer service experience

Previous hotel front office experience preferred

Experience using hotel reservation systems (Opera Cloud experience advantageous but not essential)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating roster

Professional personal presentation

Good written and spoken English
