Job summary

Distinctionhotelspalmerstonnorth in Twizel is looking for a Guest Service Agent (GSA) for the summer season from October 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The role requires providing exceptional service, managing check-ins and customer queries, and requires flexibility to work various shifts. Ideal candidates will have experience in customer service and be proficient with property management systems. The position offers $25 - $28 per hour based on experience, along with staff discounts and onsite accommodation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception, portering, or customer service is an advantage.
• Well-presented and proactive in approach.
• Ability to deal with customer enquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
• Assisting in the F&B department.
• Check in and out guests efficiently.
• Prepare for group arrivals and manage reservations.
