Knights Inn is seeking an experienced Front Office team member to join a friendly team in Auckland. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years in hotel Front Office, be confident with accounting procedures and reservation systems, and comfortable with PMS/GDS platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a hotel Front Office role.
• Strong understanding of hotel and hospitality industry procedures.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Confident, empathetic and professional when dealing with guests.
• Highly motivated and customer-focused.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Good computer literacy and experience with reservation/PMS systems.
• Good written communication skills, including professional email writing.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.
• Balance daily banking and complete relevant financial procedures.
• Perform all daily Front Office duties and tasks to a high standard.
• Complete daily reports accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a positive team morale and contribute to a friendly Front Office environment.
• Communicate regularly with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Reservations regarding room status, availability and room moves.
• Ensure all guest enquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally.
