Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Group IT Communications Advisor to simplify complex information and keep teams informed about priorities and changes. You will translate technical details into practical messages, work with leaders to plan communications, and publish across intranet, newsletters, and leadership updates.

You’ll provide coaching to stakeholders, support employee engagement, and monitor channel effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or corporate communications or communications advisory.
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into simple, engaging messages.
• Strong writing, editing and content development across channels.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication plans that support business priorities and change initiatives.
• Write, edit and publish clear content across intranet, newsletters, presentations and leadership updates.
• Provide practical communications advice and coaching to leaders and stakeholders.
• Support employee engagement to strengthen culture and understanding of priorities.
• Monitor channel effectiveness and identify improvements; support reputational communications when needed.

As our Group IT Communications Advisor, you'll help keep our people informed, connected and clear on what matters. This is a role for someone who can turn complex or technical information into simple, useful messages that land well across the business. • Develop and deliver communication plans that support business priorities, strategic projects and change initiatives.
• Write, edit and publish clear, high-quality content across channels including intranet, newsletters, presentations and leadership updates.
• Provide practical communications advice and coaching to leaders and stakeholders across the business.
• Support employee engagement activity that strengthens culture, reinforces values and improves understanding of business priorities.
• Monitor channel effectiveness, identify improvements, and support issues or reputational communications when needed.
• Experience in internal or corporate communications, engagement, or a communications advisory role.
• Strong writing, editing and content development skills across a range of communication channels.
• The ability to translate complex or technical information into simple, engaging messages.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
