Job summary

Fulton Hogan in New Zealand seeks a Group IT Communications Advisor to translate complex IT changes into clear messages for the business. You will plan and deliver communications that support priorities, projects and change, working with leaders and stakeholders.

This role focuses on writing and editing across intranet, newsletters, presentations and leadership updates, coaching leaders, enhancing employee engagement and monitoring channel effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or corporate communications, engagement, or a communications advisory role.
• Strong writing, editing and content development skills across a range of communication channels.
• The ability to translate complex or technical information into simple, engaging messages.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication plans that support business priorities, strategic projects and change initiatives.
• Write, edit and publish clear, high-quality content across channels including intranet, newsletters, presentations and leadership updates.
• Provide practical communications advice and coaching to leaders and stakeholders across the business.
