Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a motivated Supervisor to join the GroceryFill team. This hands-on role involves leading from the front, keeping shelves well-stocked, and ensuring the store looks its best for customers.

You will support the team, manage daily workload, and help prepare the store for the next day. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday 12pm–9pm, based in Hawke’s Bay.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG is an advantage but not essential.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
• Comfortable using IT systems and adapting to change.
• Able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Energetic, reliable, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to keep shelves well-stocked and store presentable.
• Support customers and respond to requests throughout shifts.
• Motivate and manage the team, scheduling work and delegating tasks.
• Prepare the store for the next day and close out daily duties.

It’s a busy,varied role with plenty of responsibility.

What we’re looking for:

• Confident doing store walks and prioritising resource where required
• Reliable, cheerful, and confident in leading a team
• FMCG experience (an advantage, but not essential)
• Comfortable using IT systems(we use them daily) and ability to cope with change
• Someone that enjoys a busy dynamic environment
• Proven ability to motivate, manage, and support team
• A positive can‑do attitude is a must, as well as the ability to understand priorities and schedule work accordingly
