Job summary

Gore New World in Gore, New Zealand is hiring for a full-time Grocery Team member to support inwards goods and the smooth running of the store. You will work Sunday to Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm, helping motivate the team and maintain high standards of service.

This busy role requires physical work, reliable teamwork and strong communication. You’ll help uphold Food and Health and Safety programs, contribute to a lively, productive environment, and have opportunities for learning and development

Qualifications

• Previous retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Able to lift and bend as part of duties.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand.

We are looking for someone to join our Grocery Team on a full-time, permanent basis Sunday- Thursday 6.00am-2.30pm.

This is a busy role, predominantly focussed on the smooth running of our grocery department and inwards goods. No two days are the same where you will assist motivating the team, prioritise tasks and get stuck in yourself.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring our customers are our number one priority
• A focus on quality
• Ensure our Food and Health and Safety programs are being adhered to
• Contribute to the overall success within the Supermarket
• Liaise with the Department Manager and assist with day to day running of the department
