Job summary

Foodstuffs NZ is seeking a motivated Grocery Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave in Auckland. The role oversees Grocery, Liquor, Dairy, Frozen, and Online, leading a large team to meet sales and service targets.

You will manage stock, merchandising standards, and customer experiences with a hands-on leadership style. A forklift licence with F Endorsement or NZ Driver Licence with endorsement is required.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Grocery Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Working 45 hours per week, this pivotal leadership position is responsible for managing the store's Dry Goods departments, including Grocery, Liquor, Dairy, Frozen, and Online.

Leading a large team, you will be accountable for departmental performance, stock management, merchandising standards, customer satisfaction, and achieving sales and profitability targets. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a busy and successful supermarket operation.
