Job summary

Fluid Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our Tauranga team. You'll work on real projects alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to HVAC, ventilation, energy efficiency and BIM modelling.

We value curiosity, problem solving and clear communication, and we'll teach you the rest as you grow from graduate to engineer and beyond in a collaborative, less-hierarchical environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering fundamentals and a can-do attitude; we'll teach you the rest.
• Graduate or final-year student in mechanical/building services engineering.
• Desire to learn and grow in a hands-on consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling system design.
• Support energy efficiency assessments and H1 calculations.
• Contribute to REVIT and BIM modelling tasks.
• Participate in BIM coordination and site visits.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineers.

Now it's time to do some actual engineering.

Fluid Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our Tauranga team.

We're a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy working across Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical and BIM, and we're looking for someone who's smart, curious and keen to get stuck in.

What will you actually be doing?

Quite a lot, actually.

You'll be involved in real projects and work alongside experienced engineers to design the systems that make buildings work.

You'll get exposure to:

• HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Ventilation and mechanical exhaust
• Heating and cooling systems
• Energy efficiency and H1 calculations
• Engineering calculations and equipment selection
• Revit and BIM modelling
• BIM coordination and clash detection
• Site visits and construction
• Working with architects, contractors and other engineers

And importantly - you'll get to see your work being built.

But I'm a graduate... I don't know all this yet.
