Graduate Electrical Building Services Engineer
Tauranga | Full-Time
Degree done. Time to switch things up.
You've put in the hard yards — lectures, labs, assignments, exams and probably more caffeine than you'd like to admit.
Now it's time to take what you've learned and put it into the real world.
Fluid Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Graduate Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our Tauranga team.
We're a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy covering Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and BIM, working on projects that range from commercial and residential buildings through to large-scale developments.
If you're technically minded, curious about how things work and ready to get stuck into real projects, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and get hand-on experience designing the electrical systems behind modern buildings.
You will get involved in:
The best part?
You'll see your designs go from a line on a screen to an actual building.
Yep. We know.
We're not looking for someone who already knows everything. That's what the job is for.
What we're really looking for is someone who:
Bring the engineering degree and the right attitude.
We'll help you build the rest.
Your first engineering job is a pretty big deal.
We want it to be somewhere you can learn, contribute, have fun and actually see where your career could go.
You'll be part of project teams and contributing to real work - not sitting on the sidelines waiting for your turn.
You'll have experienced engineers around you who can teach you the technical side and the practical side of the industry.
You'll get hand-on experience with Revit, BIM, Navisworks and the tools used to design today's buildings.
Site visits are part of the job. See how buildings are constructed, meet the people building them and understand how your designs work in practice.
We'll support your development as you progress from Graduate → Engineer → Senior Engineer and beyond.
Great projects, good people and The Mount, beaches, cafes and everything else Tauranga has going on right outside the office.
We're serious about doing good engineering.
We're not serious about taking ourselves too seriously.
We're a close-knit team who work hard, help each other out, celebrate the wins and enjoy having a bit of fun along the way.
If that sounds like your kind of workplace, come meet us.
