We are seeking a highly organised and people-focused GPEP1 RMO Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of the General Practice Education Programme Year 1 (GPEP1) employment model.
As a key point of contact for registrars and training providers, you will provide day-to-day employment coordination and administrative support for GPEP1 registrars employed by Health New Zealand. This includes supporting the registrar employment lifecycle, from onboarding and employment administration through to leave and payroll coordination, placement management, provider liaison, and registrar support.
Working closely with registrars, training providers, the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP), and Health New Zealand teams, you will help ensure a consistent, responsive, and high-quality support service. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the effective delivery of a nationally coordinated registrar programme.
This role sits within Planning, Funding & Outcomes and reports to the GPEP1 RMO Support Unit Manager. You will work collaboratively with GPEP1 programme leaders, training providers, registrar support services, payroll, recruitment, People & Culture teams, and other operational stakeholders across the country.
You are an experienced coordinator or administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience working in an RMO Unit, medical workforce environment, vocational training programme, or with employment administration and payroll processes will be highly advantageous.
