Job summary

Te Tāpui Atawhai Auckland City Mission is seeking a General Manager - People to lead the organisation's people strategy, culture and capability for its next stage of development in Auckland.

Reporting to the Director of Support Services, you will be a trusted adviser to senior leaders on employment matters, strengthen the foundations of the People function, and advance Te Tiriti-led practices that uplift tangata and kaimahi.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading a People and Capability function.
• Experience in a complex, service-led or not-for-profit environment.
• Ability to embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity in practice.
• Proven capability to lead organisational development and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People function through its next stage of development.
• Embed Te Tiriti, equity and inclusion in how the Mission leads and decides.
• Strengthen leadership, culture and workforce capability.
• Advise the Chief Executive and senior leaders on employment matters.
