Job summary

Northland Regional Council is seeking an accomplished executive to join its Executive Leadership Team as Pou Taumatau - General Manager Corporate Services, directing internal services and performance.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead organisational development, people and culture, finance, IT, audit and risk, governance, economic development and property, shaping capability for a high-performing, customer-focused organisation in Te Taitokerau.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience leading corporate services functions within a complex organisation.
• Significant experience driving organisational development, culture change and transformational programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster collaboration.
• Demonstrated cultural capability including understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and partnerships with tangata whenua.

Responsibilities
