Job summary

ZURU in Auckland City, NZ is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive new distribution and retailer partnerships globally.

Based at our Auckland HQ, you will own the new business engine, identify white space, and pitch opportunities to buyers across EMEA, LATAM, and beyond.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a fast-growth culture and strong career progression opportunities within a leading toy company.

Qualifications

• Strong pitch and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Close product-level distribution gaps across our portfolio; review sell-through and ranging data to identify missing listings and revenue opportunities.
• Open new retailers by qualifying opportunities, building outreach, and moving accounts through the sales cycle.
• Build the ranging case for gaps with account performance, category fit, and pricing logic; convert into buyer pitches.
• Track distribution gained SKU-by-SKU and account-by-account to measure impact and guide next steps.
