Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Mining Project Manager to oversee diverse mining initiatives from inception to completion. This fully remote role offers flexible working conditions and requires strong leadership across international teams.

You will plan, execute, and close projects, manage budgets and risks, and communicate with global stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, within scope, and to high safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the mining industry.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale mining projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMP a plus).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of various mining projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and communicate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders globally.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards for all project activities.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular status reports, and manage stakeholder expectations.
