Job summary

Xe.com in Auckland seeks a Treasury Payments specialist to manage settlement of FX contracts and processing of funds for corporate and consumer clients. You will coordinate with global teams to ensure timely settlements and compliance with SLAs.

The role requires experience in financial services or FX, strong numeracy and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. An on-site position in Auckland with cross-border collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cash flows and global payment rails.

Responsibilities

• Organise contract settlement for the current value date.
• Process receipts and payments across global bank accounts.
• Liaise with APAC, NAM, UK teams on AML, sanctions, and FX queries.
• Resolve escalated client queries by phone or email.
• Investigate and resolve settlement/account errors with banking partners.
• Monitor workflow queues to meet cut-off times and SLAs.
• Support Treasury Risk Management in settlements with banking counterparties.
• Manage MT300 confirmations in Mysis and address anomalies.
• Confirm options with banking counterparties and premiums.
