Job summary

Manukau Institute of Technology is seeking an International Success Team Leader to oversee a dedicated team supporting the wellbeing, engagement and success of international learners. The role offers leadership growth and opportunities to shape services and initiatives across MIT and Unitec.

You will lead a team of 6-10 staff, coordinate programmes to enhance learner outcomes, and engage with diverse stakeholders, while fulfilling travel requirements across campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people, projects, programmes, initiatives or operational activities, or ready to take the next step into a formal leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6-10 staff supporting international learners and wellbeing.
• Shape services, programmes and initiatives to improve learner success and engagement.
• Travel across MIT and Unitec campuses as part of the role.
• Fixed-term appointment from 30 November 2026 to 17 December 2027.
• Potential secondment where feasible, otherwise fixed-term for duration of appointment.
