Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) seeks an experienced International Senior Specialist to lead faculty internationalisation strategies, strengthen partnerships and enhance the international student experience. Based on AUT's city campus, this permanent, full-time role partners with senior academic leaders to deliver global growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Significant strategic management or business partnering experience in higher education.
• Experience developing and maintaining strategic partnerships.
• Knowledge of international recruitment and Transnational Education (TNE).
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver faculty internationalisation plans aligned with AUT's priorities.
• Build trusted partnerships with faculty leadership and key stakeholders.
• Identify and grow international partnerships and Transnational Education opportunities.
• Support international student recruitment, marketing and enrolment initiatives.
• Drive initiatives that enhance the international student experience, retention and success.
• Champion student mobility opportunities, including exchanges and COIL.
• Use data and market insights to inform strategic decisions and measure success.
