Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an OFCI Procurement Manager to join our data center team in New Zealand. You will serve as the primary liaison between Sourcing and Construction project teams, overseeing OFCI procurement and delivery to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of equipment for large-scale data center projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive procurement experience in mission-critical environments, strong vendor relations, and a track record of driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement and supply chain experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical systems and related equipment.
• Proven ability to manage complex purchase orders and vendor relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Experience with RFPs, bid evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Ability to conduct factory inspections and interpret technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead OFCI procurement and delivery for large data center projects.
• Administer contracts, review terms, ensure compliance and cost control.
• Develop procurement plans with the Procurement Manager and track schedules.
• Coordinate RFx processes, vendor negotiations, and pre-bid activities.
• Provide reporting to stakeholders and clients on procurement status.
• Identify risks, drive improvements in procurement processes and controls.
• Collaborate with construction teams to align procurement with milestones.
