Qualifications

• Five+ years in procurement, preferably building products or construction supply
• Experience managing offshore suppliers and developing international sourcing relationships
• Strong commercial negotiation, sourcing, contract management, and supplier evaluation skills
• Knowledge of international logistics, freight, customs, and supply chain risk
• Confident communicator with analytical and reporting abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead international procurement activity across construction products
• Manage offshore supplier relationships and identify new offshore partners
• Oversee sourcing, tendering, pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements
• Coordinate product testing, compliance documentation, and quality standards
• Oversee international freight, shipping, customs processes, and NZ delivery
• Collaborate with Regional/Project Managers to forecast demand and manage supply risks
