Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and automation. You will drive CI/CD, IaC, monitoring and incident response while collaborating with software teams across distributed locations.

This hands-on role offers ownership, autonomy and the chance to influence global platform technology used by agricultural innovators, with flexibility to support North American hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and scaling production AWS environments.
• Strong DevOps and cloud engineering capability.
• Experience with containerised platforms (ECS/EKS).
• Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform.
• Strong CI/CD and automation skills.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and incident response.
• Database optimisation and performance tuning experience.
• Python, Node.js or similar scripting capability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and optimising AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Improving platform reliability, performance and scalability.
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strengthening monitoring, observability and incident response practices.
• Supporting multi-region deployments and global platform architecture.
• Improving database performance and operational efficiency.
• Investigating and solving complex performance challenges before customers experience them.
• Working closely with software engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
