Job summary

The role involves collaboration across the Molecular Genetics section and potential exposure to other areas of the lab, contributing to innovation in genomic diagnostics and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist registered with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ and current APC.
• Experience in sequencing and interpretation of genomic data is essential.
• Familiarity with ISO15189 standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret and clinically report genomic tests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate across the Diagnostic Genetics laboratory and potentially other areas.
• Maintain data quality and contribute to continuous improvement in germline testing.
