Job summary

SkyCity New Zealand is seeking an experienced General Manager Procurement to lead our procurement function across Auckland and NZ operations. The role reports to the CFO and ensures procurement strategies align with business priorities while delivering commercial outcomes.

You will oversee governance, sourcing, supplier relationships and category management, building a high-performing team focused on value creation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant senior procurement or supply chain leadership experience.
• Track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and complex commercial arrangements.
• Strong financial, analytical and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience developing procurement strategies, operating models and governance frameworks.
• MCIPS/CIPS or equivalent viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across procurement governance, category management, supplier relationship management and sourcing activities.
• Partner with senior leaders across SkyCity to align procurement strategies with organisational priorities and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Oversee procurement expenditure across New Zealand operations while leading a high-performing team.
• Drive value creation, supplier innovation and continuous improvement across the function.
