Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated Gardener to maintain our resort-style grounds at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village. This full-time role runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 08:00–16:30 and Wednesday 08:00–12:00, working with a collaborative team to create botanical spaces residents, families and staff can enjoy.

You will service the grounds, manage gardens for safety and appearance, and contribute to a varied setting including a bowling green and water features.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Gardener/Landscaper role
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village in Christchurch as a Gardener. This is aFull Time position working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0800-1630 and Wednesday 0800-1200

In this role you will:

• Work in a team focused on maintaining our beautiful gardens in our resort style setting for our residents, their families and our staff to enjoy
• Service the grounds and gardens to ensure a great appearance and ensure safety of all the grounds area
• Enjoy lots of variety with a bowling green, water features, residential and shared areas
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Previous experience in a Gardener/Landscaper role
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner
