Job summary

Ryman Healthcare is inviting applications for a casual Gardener at the Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora, just 30 minutes from Christchurch. You’ll join a friendly team maintaining resort-style gardens, with duties spanning grounds care, safety, and feature areas like bowling greens and water features.

Previous gardening experience is preferred and strong communication is valued in a caring, collaborative environment.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora (30 mins from Christchurch City) as a Gardener. This is a Casual position.

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Previous experience in a Gardener/Landscaper role

• Outstanding communication skills
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner
• Horticultural qualifications preferred
