Job summary

Fullers360 Auckland is hiring multiple part-time ambassadors for the peak summer period on a fixed-term basis. You’ll work at least 16 hours per week on a rotating roster, including Christmas and New Year, and help guests with information, ticket validation and guiding them to the right service.

We seek confident, outgoing team players with customer service experience who can promote products, capture sales and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Confident, outgoing and capable of engaging a crowd.
• Able to work a rotating roster including holidays.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Job description

We're gearing up for our busiest period with summer around the corner and will be employing multiple Fullers360 Ambassadors on a fixed term part-time basis. These roles are an add-on to the permanent full-time team, hence you'll need to be able to and willing to work a minimum of 16 hours per week (shift based with a rotating roster). As it's peak season you will be expected to work over the Christmas and New Year period.

About the role

This is not your average summer job, and you won’t be stuck in an office. This role plays a critical part in providing an outstanding Customer Experience for our guests before they step onboard our ferries.

In this varied role you'll be interacting with our customers hence you will need to be confident, outgoing and not afraid of commanding a crowd. This will see you capture sales, promote products, provide information and general assistance to our customers, validate tickets and direct customers to ensure they are in the right place and boarding the correct service.

To be successful in this role;

• You'll be passionate about customer service and ideally come from customer service background
• Be punctual, reliable and take pride in your appearance
• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Have a good level of maturity with the ability to work under pressure
• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand

About the hours of work

• $27.80 per hour
• Rotating roster (no set pattern) including public holidays and weekends (shift based, rotating roster)
• Need to be available to start 28th September, 12th October OR 2nd November 2026
• Available to work until the end of April 2027
• Need to be able to able and willing to work over the Christmas and New Year period
• Need to available to work full time (40 hours) for the 1st two weeks for training
• Hours of work fall between 8:00am - 10:00pm to enable the use of public transport as we don't have parking available onsite

Fullers operates 7 days a week, as such, this position is on a roster basis and will include weekend shifts and public holidays.
