Job summary

Loadscan Limited in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join our product development team. You will build and extend web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Express/Koa, collaborating with business users and other engineers to deliver robust solutions.

You will also design tests, write documentation, and support deployed applications while growing your skills in Linux CLI and Git workflows.

Qualifications

• Relevant ICT tertiary qualification.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and REST.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JS, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Express/Koa.
• Familiarity with the Linux command line.
• Experience with Git workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Great team player with strong organisational skills.

Loadscan develops and manufactures innovative measurement technology for automated measurement of truck load volumes in a variety of settings such as civil construction and mining. The Full Web Stack Developer will be responsible for a wide range of projects to enhance current product offerings and the development of new products to further the product range. You will be working in the product development team and the broader Loadscan sales and support team. Leveraging your experience in web application development, you will contribute to the development of applications critical to Loadscan's offerings.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT
• Creative, technically minded team player with exceptional organisational skills
• Good understanding of the web (HTTP, REST)
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, JS, React, Typescript, NodeJS and Express/Koa
• A working knowledge of using the Linux command line
• A working knowledge of source control systems such as GIT, Gitlab, Github, etc.
• Passion and enthusiasm for what you do is just as important as your technical skills
