Job summary

Joyn in Auckland is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to manage successful delivery of business and technology projects that improve how our client operates. You’ll plan, coordinate and deliver projects, engaging stakeholders and balancing priorities from initiation to implementation.

You’ll collaborate with business leaders, technology teams and vendors to remove obstacles, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across end-to-end processes.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience leading complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience delivering technology-enabled business change.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to manage the successful delivery of business and technology projects that improve the way our client operates.

Working across multiple initiatives, you’ll plan, coordinate and deliver projects while balancing competing priorities, engaging stakeholders and ensuring work progresses smoothly from initiation through to implementation.

You’ll work closely with business leaders, technology teams and vendors to remove obstacles, manage risks and keep projects moving. Alongside project delivery, you’ll lead a Continuous Improvement Stream, working with Stream Owners and Solution Design to improve practices, processes and technology in an end-to-end way that delivers great outcomes.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or Delivery Lead who enjoys variety, is comfortable flexing between delivery leadership and project management, thrives in collaborative environments and takes pride in delivering successful outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead projects from initiation through to successful delivery, or take ownership of projects already in flight to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and improvement initiatives.
• Develop project plans, manage scope, risks, timelines and dependencies.
• Build strong relationships across the business, collaborating with teams, leaders and delivery partners.
• Facilitate project workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues and keep delivery on track.
• Balance project delivery with business-as-usual operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, practices, technology and ways of working.
• Communicate project progress, risks and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Work with Stream Owners and Solution Design to prioritise, sequence and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

You’ll be an experienced Project Manager or Delivery Lead with a track record of delivering successful business and technology projects.

You’ll bring:

• At least five years' experience leading complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience delivering technology-enabled business change.
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
• An open mindset, a flexible approach and a genuine enjoyment of working with people across all parts of the organisation.

Experience working with enterprise business systems such as CRM, ERP, LMS or similar platforms would be advantageous.
