Job summary

Loadscan Limited in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join our product development team. You will build and extend web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Express/Koa, collaborating with business users and other engineers to deliver robust solutions.

You will also design tests, write documentation, and support deployed applications while growing your skills in Linux CLI and Git workflows.

Qualifications

• Relevant ICT tertiary qualification.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and REST.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JS, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Express/Koa.
• Familiarity with the Linux command line.
• Experience with Git workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Great team player with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business users and understand requirements; analyse and design optimal technology solutions to business requirements
• Design, develop, code end to end distributed technology solutions
• Documentation of developed solutions
• Automated test design and implementation
• Work as an active team member in collaboration to develop
• Provide third level support of deployed applications
• Contribute to feasibility and cost analysis and project planning
• Assume responsibility for personal and professional work education and development
• Maintain and/or extend knowledge and skill base required for effective performance
