Job summary

Citycare Property is seeking a Mower Operator to join our Trentham Military Camp team in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. You will operate ride-on and tractor-mounted mowing equipment to maintain parks, sports fields, and landscaped areas to a high standard.

The role suits someone who can work independently yet as part of a supportive team, with a full Class 1 licence and a commitment to health and safety. Competitive pay, long-term full-time employment, and company-provided PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ride-on mowers or similar outdoor machinery.
• A full Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol, and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate ride-on, tractor-mounted, and pedestrian mowing equipment.
• Mow, edge, line trim, and maintain turf)
• Maintain sports fields, open spaces, roadsides, and landscaped areas.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Work safely and follow site requirements.
