Job summary

Objective Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to help evolve our Planning & Building Solutions into a modern, AWS-hosted SaaS platform. You will work across the full technology stack to build features and modernise legacy components in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

You will design, develop and deliver scalable software, with a strong focus on maintainability and quality, reporting to the Development Manager and contributing to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficient with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with React, Angular or similar frameworks.
• Experience with SQL Server, relational databases and RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of scalable, maintainable software design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver scalable software for customers.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and web apps.
• Refactor legacy code to improve performance.
• Troubleshoot product and customer issues.
• Write clean, reliable, well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners and writers.
• Help improve development, testing and delivery processes.
