Job summary

Westpac New Zealand in Auckland is looking for a role that helps build and support digital experiences for our Frontline services across branch and contact centre channels. You’ll work across front-end and back-end technologies, applications, and integrations, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

A key part of the role is the administration of the SWIFT applications.

Qualifications

• Must be a quick learner and able to conduct independent research.
• Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, MQ and job scheduling.
• Commitment to high-quality production support and documentation throughout SDLC.
• Ability to implement new product features with a focus on quality.
• Design, configure or implement, test, and maintain applications with performance and reliability in mind.
• Produce relevant documentation throughout SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Help build and support digital experiences for Frontline services across channels.
• Participate in on-call support and after-hours changes, including weekends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across front-end and back-end technologies.
