Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Limited invites a Software Engineer to help build and support digital experiences for frontline services across branches and contact centres. You’ll work across front-end and back-end technologies, applications and integrations with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

The role includes SWIFT application administration; SWIFT experience is welcome but a curious learner can develop capability.

Qualifications

• Quick learner with ability to research independently.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Focus on high-quality production support and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and support digital experiences across branch and contact centre channels.
• Work across front-end and back-end technologies, applications and integrations.
• Administer SWIFT applications; participate in on-call support and after-hours changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Produce relevant documentation throughout SDLC.
