Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Limited is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop and maintain digital solutions across Lending, Insurance and Wealth products. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software that meets business needs.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, support Agile delivery, and apply best practice engineering standards across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial experience in full stack software development with a focus on Java.
• Hands-on experience with latest LTS JDK, Spring Boot or similar microservice frameworks.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux and Webpack.
• Experience with testing practices and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
