Job summary

ThroughLine is building the global safety net for people in crisis, delivering a scalable AI safety platform that guides distressed users to the right next steps. We seek a Full Stack Engineer who is a hacker, researcher, and builder, capable of spanning front-end, back-end, and AI systems.

You will shape safety tooling and ship features in a fast, ethical product environment. You will work across React/Next.js/TypeScript frontend and Node.js/Python backend on Google Cloud Run and other infra,

Qualifications

• Experience spanning front-end, back-end, and AI systems.
• Knowledge of LLM integration and AI workflows.
• Ability to ship quickly while prioritising safety and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and monitor guardrails for LLMs and classifiers.
• Instrument and evaluate model behavior via internal platform.
• Collaborate across research, frontend, and backend to ship features.
• Deliver production features that improve safety for users in distress.
• Understand how safety decisions cascade through the system.
