New World Pukekohe is seeking a reliable Produce Assistant to keep our fresh produce area pristine, well-presented and fully stocked. You will help maintain displays, check quality, rotate stock, and assist customers in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role involves lifting crates up to 20kg, standing for long periods, and working a 28-hour week with a Friday/Saturday/Monday roster. A friendly, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Experience with fresh produce is beneficial.
• Able to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work independently or in a team.
• Customer-focused and friendly.

Responsabilités

• Replenish and maintain fruit and vegetable displays.
• Check quality and freshness; remove items not meeting standards.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Receive, move and handle deliveries up to 20kg.
• Keep department clean and attractive; ensure pricing/signage accuracy.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Work with team to meet daily targets.
