Job summary

New World Waihi is seeking a motivated Produce Assistant to join our busy team. You will help in loading/unloading deliveries, keep shelves stocked and displays looking great for customers, and support quality standards in the produce department.

Applicants should have physical strength for heavy lifting, the ability to work at a fast pace, and a positive, team-focused attitude. NZ residency or valid NZ work visa is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading produce trucks and deliveries.
• Ensure all inbound goods are checked, labeled, and stored correctly to reduce waste.
• Assist in packing produce as needed.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked displays and merchandising standards.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the department.
