Mr Apple is seeking an experienced Forklift Supervisor for a unique 12-month fixed-term role. The first seven months will focus on leading forklift operations in our Binstores team, followed by a transition to one of our orchards for the remainder of the term to gain cross-functional experience.

You will play a key role in ensuring fruit moves safely and efficiently, while supporting team performance and overall operational success across post-harvest areas.

Formación

• Forklift operating experience required.
• Proficiency with computers and record management.
• Experience leading or coordinating teams preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are expected.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a forklift for movement and storage of fruit bins.
• Coordinate fruit treatments, storage activities and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and traceability information.
• Collaborate with transport, production and receiving teams to optimise fruit flow.
• Lead and guide team members to achieve operational goals.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across the site.

Help drive the success of New Zealand's apple industry by leading the movement of premium fruit through our binstore network. At Mr Apple, we're looking for an experienced Forklift Supervisor to join us on a unique 12-month fixed-term opportunity. You'll spend approximately seven months leading forklift operations in our Binstores team before transitioning to one of our orchards for the remainder of the term, gaining valuable cross-functional experience and a broader understanding of our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in ensuring fruit moves safely and efficiently through our post-harvest operation while supporting team performance and operational success.

• Operating a forklift for the movement and storage of fruit bins
• Coordinating fruit treatments, storage activities and inventory control
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability information
• Working with transport, production and receiving teams to optimise fruit flow
• Supporting and guiding team members to achieve operational goals
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture across the site
