Mr Apple, New Zealand's largest apple grower and exporter, invites skilled Class 5 truck drivers to join our Hastings team for the 2027 season. Start January or February, transporting apples between orchards, packhouses, bin stores and coolstores in Hawke's Bay.

Local driving only with day and night shifts available; no overnight trips. We operate a modern curtain-sided fleet with consistent hours and opportunities to upskill in HPMVs, plus potential off-season work.

Qualifications

• Class 5 licence required; 5L and class 4 considered.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Experience with logbooks/record-keeping.
• Willingness to learn and upskill.
• Right to work in New Zealand and pass pre-employment checks.

What you'll be doing:

We're on the lookout for skilled class 5 (option for a class 4) Truck Drivers to join our Hastings-based team for the 2027 apple season. Starting in January or February, you'll be transporting freshly picked and packed apples between our orchards, packhouses, bin stores, and coolstores, all within Hawke's Bay.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Safely transporting bins, pallets, and other products between sites
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date logbooks
• Carrying out basic truck maintenance and reporting any issues
• Communicating clearly with dispatch and your team

What you'll bring:

• A Class 5 licence (5L and class 4 also considered)
• A strong focus on health and safety
• Experience with record-keeping and logbooks
• A willingness to learn and upskill
• The right to work in New Zealand and ability to pass pre-employment checks
