Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is looking for a Freight Operator to join our Nelson branch on the afternoon shift (Mon–Fri 10.30am–7.00pm). In this hands-on role you'll load/unload freight, scan, sort and help keep operations moving safely and on time.

To be considered you must hold a clean NZ Class 1 license, a forklift license with OSH cert, and ideally Dangerous Goods Endorsement. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Clean NZ Class 1 License is required.
• Forklift License with OSH cert is required.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement is a plus.
• Customer-focused attitude is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday 10.30am – 7.00pm

About the role - Mō te tūranga

In this hands‑on role, you’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – its’ a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is key.
