Job summary

ATT in Queenstown is seeking a permanent Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding across a range of systems on a live project. You will coordinate site activities, allocate workloads, ensure drawings, specs and materials are ready, and supervise site staff including apprentices and subcontractors.

You must be a qualified electrician with at least four years’ experience, hold NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence, and

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified electrician with at least four years’ experience.

• Solid understanding of current codes of practice and electrical regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly under deadline pressure.

• Allocate workloads and set team expectations; ensure drawings, specifications and materials are available before work starts.

Our client is looking to fill a permanent Electrical Foreman's role on a project in Queenstown, with a rate that reflects your experience and leadership ability.

The role covers electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding across a range of systems, alongside day-to-day coordination of site activities, labour, plant and materials. You'll allocate workloads, set expectations for the team, and make sure everyone has the drawings, specifications and materials they need before work starts.

You must be a qualified electrician with at least four years' experience and the confidence to take ownership of work under your control. You'll supervise and direct site staff, including apprentices and subcontractors, and liaise professionally with clients and suppliers to keep projects moving.
