Job summary

Fred Recruitment Pte Ltd in New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Shift Engineer to keep the factory running smoothly across multiple production and packing lines. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, reduce downtime, and work closely with the production team.

Two positions are available for day, afternoon or night shifts with rotating hours, including weekend coverage. FMCG manufacturing experience is preferred and a proactive, reliable team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with hands-on FMCG/manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining line machinery in a factory setting.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment across multiple production and packing lines.
• Diagnose and resolve faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Rotate through day, afternoon and night shifts, including weekend coverage as required.
• Support Engineering team in a 2IC capacity where needed.
• Update equipment and circuit records after changes or modifications.
