Job summary

6am Recruitment in Auckland seeks a skilled flooring installer to learn and master servicing and installation of wooden floors across diverse projects. Expect autonomy in daily tasks with office visits only twice weekly, plus travel across New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Good general skills and ability to use tools; experience with wood is a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to measure and cut with precision.
• Drive and determination to learn new skills with enthusiasm.
• Equally comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.
• Ability to travel 25% of time outside of Auckland.
• Sense of humour.

Responsibilities

• Learn and become skilled in all aspects of servicing and installing wooden floors.
• Work with others on projects and travel around New Zealand.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and safety on site.
• Collaborate with operations manager for smooth project delivery.
