Job summary

Grow Active Balfour Terrace is seeking a capable, confident Certificated teacher to join our early learning centre. You’ll be hands-on, enjoy engaging with children, and contribute to a warm, professional team.

We provide a purpose-built centre with four learning spaces, supportive teaching practice, low ratios and opportunities for involvement in meaningful learning that respects cultures and needs.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher required.
• NZ residency required; not an accredited employer.
• Capable, confident and reflective teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the early learning centre with children.
• Build relationships with children and families.
• Create engaging, safe and meaningful learning experiences.

Grow Active Balfour Tce is a fun-loving, professional, happy and hard-working team looking for a special person to join us and teach in our centre. You’ll be someone who enjoys being hands‑on, gets stuck in and genuinely loves spending their day with children.

Our purpose-built centre has four dedicated learning spaces, two under twos rooms and two over twos rooms. This allows children to learn at their own pace, explore their interests and develop in an environment that feels safe, calm and engaging.

We take the time to really know our children, build strong relationships and create learning experiences that are responsive to their interests, strengths, cultures and individual needs.
