Job summary

Grow Active is seeking a capable and confident Certificated teacher to join our centre in Christchurch. You will teach in a purpose-built space designed for four age-group learning areas, enabling children to explore at their own pace in a safe and engaging environment.

We value respectful and meaningful teaching practice, building strong relationships with children and families, and delivering learning experiences responsive to each child’s interests and culture. NZ residents only.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher with NZ registration.
• Experience in early learning or kōhanga reo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a purpose-built centre with four dedicated learning spaces, enabling children to learn at their own pace.
• Build strong relationships with children and create learning experiences that respond to their interests, strengths, cultures and individual needs.
• Collaborate with a team to maintain a warm, supportive and engaging learning environment.

Our purpose-built centre has four dedicated learning spaces, designed around different age groups. This allows children to learn at their own pace, explore their interests and develop in an environment that feels safe, calm and engaging.
