Job summary

CountryLife Early Education in Wellington is seeking a qualified kaiako for a part-time fixed-term maternity cover role. You will join a small team, working 2 to 3 days per week, with responsibilities including opening and closing on rotation and supporting the centre’s daily routines.

Applicants must hold NZ teaching certification and have the right to work in New Zealand. The centre is private, licensed for 35 children, located in Takapu Valley, Tawa.

Qualifications

• Qualified kaiako with NZ teaching certification.
• Experience in early learning settings preferred.
• Ability to open/close on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing on rotation.
• Support children and wrap-around care during shifts.
• Contribute to a small, close-knit team.

CountryLife Early Education is on the lookout for a qualified kaiako to join our small team 2 to 3 days a week in a fixed-term capacity. We are on the hunt for someone with the ability to support with opening and closing on rotation, alongside the rest of the team.

We are located just 3 minutes off the motorway, in the hills of Takapu Valley, Tawa. Wellington.

We are a small, private, mixed-age centre, licensed for only 35 children.
